On the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti (Dhanteras) and the 9th Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch, inaugurate, and lay the foundation stone for health sector projects worth around Rs 12,850 crore on 29th October 2024, at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in New Delhi. 

 

As a key addition to the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), he will expand health coverage to all senior citizens aged 70 and above. Additionally, he will inaugurate three new medical colleges in Mandsaur, Neemuch, and Seoni, Madhya Pradesh.
